In a bizarre partnership that defies traditional predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Disclosed

According to the official release, "A strange meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of forbidden practices and fearsome changes echo through the darkness." The storyline presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret cult.

The mission focuses on "strange trials and a monstrous enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Additional Material

Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an unique katana in addition to multiple items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Newest Free Story Update

This update also brings the game's latest free story episode, titled "The Mystery."
